I am considering buying my Brother-in Laws 2005 5-Speed Mustang GT Coupe.
It came standard with 17 inch rims and I would like to know if I can swap these for 18s without any modifications.
I would also like to know if I can replace the standard GT Spoiler with a Shelby Spoiler.
Do the holes in the trunk lid line up exactly?

Yes you can swap out the wheels to 18's. When you buy the Tires, you should get the ones that are lower profile so they match the circumference of the tires on the 17's and you won't have a problem with the speedo. And I am am pretty sure the holes line up for the shelby spoiler.

You would have no problem putting 19' on the car without doing any moding. However I would check on the width and profile as techman said as that may be a bigger conscern whel turning.

If you wanted to get tires with a different circumfrence for your new rims, you can change the speedo gear...

Lower profile tires would look cooler, though.
