When we drive a short distance from a morning start to work, during the first traffic stop the idle becomes rough and nearly stalls.
This happens during warm weather only.

I have replaced the lower plenum compression bolts and gaskets, which improved engine performance drastically, but this idle thing is driving my wife crazy.

Thanks for any input.

Couple of thinks to try.  Have you tried putting the vehicle in neutral to see if the idle smooths out?  Have you tried placing the transmission down into 1st to see if it smooths out.  May be a down-shift issue with the tranny.
