I am thinking of buying a 2000 ford ranger but it says it need the lower intake gasket replaced to pass inspection. Does anyone know how hard this is to do, how many hours it takes, and what it entails exactly?

Welcome to the site..

If you'd like I can send some info on the job, then you can decide weather or not you want to tackle the task.. Not to hard with some basic knowledge, and a decent outfitted tool box.. Who diagnosed the intake? Vaccum leaks can be a bit elusive ..
