Looks good to me from the outside, but the concept dash leaves a bit to be desired. I don't understand why all of these posts refer to it as a "gas guzzler". I've read that it was to be a 2.0L turbo DIESEL, no mention of gas at all. The little diesel should have enough torque to get you out offroading and still make things happen in city driving with the turbo to give it more off the line. This truck reminds me of the old Toyota Landcruiser diesel, which has almost cult following to this day. I'd say "go for it Ford", what have you got to lose? They are almost bankrupt now anyway, maybe it's time to break out of the old mold of copying everything "Euro" while chasing after the Japanese and get back to making North American cars before the Chinese market comes along next and buries us in their cheap priced junk to give the knockout blow to our automotive industry.

I would have to agree.. i htink that if ford would put diesels in not only suv's but even in cars they would sell like hot cakes... with todays growing gas prices, small efficiant diesels would be the way to go.. look how the little deisel VW rabbits anf jettas sell i think ford would be wise to do this
