brake problems

the front driver side brakes(almost positive it is the brakes) are clicking whwhen i press on the brakes to slow down. when i apply a little more pressure the clicking stops until i slow down enough to where i can release some of the pressure. then the clicking begins again until i stop.

brake pads still have plenty of life left. this started AFTER i rotated the tires..

any one know what this could be???
