1998 Contour overheating. New coolant put in on May 9th 2008. From cold start takes about 15 minutes and driving about 6-8 miles in the Las Vegas area to get to the top of the NORMAL range. Another couple of minutes and it is just about to hit the red zone. Plenty of hot air coming from the heater and fluid level is full.  Cooling fan running. Matter of fact, cooling fan starts when car is still cold, but a/c is on. Noticed today a couple of small drops of fluid around t-stat housing when I turned off car and looked under hood.  There is pressure in the radiator. Not sure if bad waterpump, temp sensor or t-stat. Heard plastic waterpump was used in the 95 model, but unable to get answer if this is the case with the 98's also.
