Blower motor resistor - 5/16/2008 3:28:34 PM    mrdgzpm   Posts: 5 Score: 0 Joined: 9/12/2007 Status: offline My local dealer diagnosed my blower motor problem in my 2003 Taurus as just needing to replace a resistor. He said it's a $20 part and $150 labor. Is this something I can do myself? Post #: 1

I can help you with the proceedure if needed.. The finish/insulator access panel needs to be removed from the passenger foot/lower dash area.. Then working upwards, the resistor is mounted right next to the blower motor assembly inserted into the plenum.. Is the blower function working on 'high' only?
