I need help locating the module that controls this. I bought the Hanes book for this van but it does not have a section on this subject. Could someone help out this poor soul? Unless I should be looking into something else to solve this puzzle.
Thanks...dudes/ets

The speed control servo/amplifier is the major system control component, and is mounted on the left (drivers side) rear engine bay area below the master cylinder.. The brake pressure switch mounted on the master cylinder is a very common failure for the speed control not activating.. Could be system power distribution (fuse/s) as well as open circuits in the sliding contact (clock spring) behind the steering wheel for the wheel controls/switches..

Behind the steering wheel? like, in my dashoard somewhere?

I'll check the fuses and other suggestions (engine bay area).

I changed out my clock spring this weekend.  I had to pull off the steering wheel and it is right there.  It took me about an hour to change out.  It fixed my airbag, horn and speed control all at once.

My horn works. I don't know about the air bag and to be honest, I hate air bags.
The thought of that thing popping open on my face just ills me.
What kind of cautions should I take if I have to miss with my steering wheel?
Am I going to be fidleling with the air bag?
thanks
