im looking at a 2003 ford F150 SC XLT XTR 4X4 with less then 120,000km i live in SK. but the truck is in Alberta. The asking price is really good $13,000 however he needed to do a little body work on it he needed the fender redone and the door. the place he took it to only painted the outside of the fender. and the paint it slighty differnt. he just had a wheel alignment this spring the rest of the truck seems to be in good shape. it will need a tune up though. He is getting rid of it because he won't be able to do the yard work he wanted to do. What do you guys think of it sound good right

Not a bad price.  Seems about average.

If you don't already own a Ford (or Ford owned product), get one.

Doesn't sound like that good a buy to me.  I just purchased a new body style 04 F150 SC Lariet, with hardshell cover and 49,000 miles on it, from the original owner, for 14,100.  Have had it for about a month, took it on a 2500 mile trip and everything works great.  Body in excellant condition.  I think you may be paying way too much for it.

I double checked Kelly Blue Book online, and I stand corrected; it should be closer to a $10,000 truck - give or take.

Bought my truck down here in Texas, where everybody drives a Ford truck.  I'll admit that I got a good deal, but I did look around a bit before I bought it.  I did the same thing with my 98 Explorer Limited Edition.  I bought it in 2001, it had 75000 miles on it and I paid 8000. for it.  The blue book on it at the time was 18000.  Just got to shop around and be patient.
