Yeah on my other 2005 with the stock 2.3l it makes a weird quick continous tapping sound at freeway speeds. im almost 100% its the valves, any input?

To K23, my 1999 2.5L does the same thing. It sounds like a marble in a tin can or something? Every now and then (like once a month), I''ll top of the gas with 89 octane. That seems to help a little. Mine doesn''t burn oil, so the valve guides aren''t worn, and I have plenty of power, so I just say screw it.

To bigjay, it could be the shocks. Mine are super easy to take off - take the wheel off and remove three nuts.
