i have a 2005 ford ranger edge lately everytime i hit a bump i can hear a chirping sound from the tire area i dont know what it could be

Does the chirping stop when you apply the brakes? Some manufacturers will put a tattle-tail on the inside brake pad. This is a piece of metal that when the brakes pads wear down to a certain point this will drag against the rotor creating a chirp - chirp - chirp sound that goes away when the brakes are applied. The pads need to be checked for wear and replaced if needed. This is to alert you before the pad wears down to the point where the rivet heads holding the pad on start eating into the rotor. Adding fluid doesn't necessarily mean that you have a leak - the calipers can contain quite a bit of fluid and when new pad are put on, the piston will be pushed back further into the caliper, pushing the fluid back into the master cylinder. Don't be surprised if you remove the cap and it is overfull after that.

Bearings in the hub of a rear wheel drive car are packed with grease when the pads are changed. Front wheel drive cars have a sealed bearing. Check the condition of the CV boots (if FWD) while the tires are off.
