I have a 2001 E150. I have an issue with starting the van, which I at first assumed was starter trouble. When I try to start the van, I sometimes have to crank it 7 or 8 times before it will start, and I hear just a clicking sound when it doesn''t start. Sometimes it works on the first try. What is confusing us is that sometimes the doors will lock and unlock by themselves during the cranking process. This is making us wonder if this is not an issue with the starter (which was replaced a few years ago), but something else. Hoping that someone can offer suggestions. Thanks.
