What is your most interesting time/story you have had in your Ford?

Mine was getting 4 feet of air off of a jump and killing up my shocks

a few years ago on Friday night at the strip racing street classes I got paired up with a red camaro who had "4UFORDS" as his license plate. kinda got under my skin a bit, young guy, red Camaro with lots of chrome underhood and several buddies with him. well, I dialed a 14+ ET and he dialed a 12.50 or so. I killed him on the tree and he never got close at the finish line either, so I put him "on the trailer" that time. guess he hadn't met all the Fords that could kick his ass yet, huh? LOL
since that night I've been able to beat several other Chevys footbrake racing in the brackets. beat the same SS Chevy two days in a row last month, killed him on the tree first time and he red lit. next day got him again when he broke out when he didn't need to. he was dialing 9.80's to my 13.60's too but I still put him on the trailer!

My 77 Supercab with the utility bed smoking the doors off of the ricers in South County, just outside St. Louis, Mo. Then I'd offer to load them on the bed and carry their poor little gutless rears home !!

The day pulled into my borthers driveway.
He is Mopar crazy. He had bought a brand new 2002 1/2 ton Ram only 3 months earlier. When he jumped in my truck to head out for supper he got out of my truck and said that he has never ridden in a truck that rode as nice, and is as quite inside as my truck was, including his new Ram. Not bad for an old 94'. I still grin when I think of the look on his face while we were driving down the brick pavement main street in the town he lives in. He could not believe he was in a pickup. And on a much brighter note, he just picked up a 2004 F150 on a year end clearance deal...Just one big grin on his face.

He will really like the 300 HP in that new F150 truck if he got the 5.4 L engine in it. I had to rent one for about 1.5 months earlier this year and the engine is so much better than the 4.6 I have in my '97 F150.

After I purchased my 2000 4X4 EB Expedition, I friend of mine asked if we would like to go to the mountains and drive around in the snow, Love too. He had his Dodge Ram with all the big stuff, liftkit, big tires etc. While going up a snow covered (packed) road, he got stuck spinning those big tires. Felt pretty good getting him going again with a "stock" 4X4. I love my truck!!
