My wife keeps getting mice inside her Explorer.  The inside stinks to high heaven and we found one dead under the carpet in the passenger foot well.

I''m curious to know how they are getting in.  Are there any openings straight to the outside for them to be able to get in that easily.

Check for missing body plugs on the firewall and under the body.  Also check the area where the fresh air intake is under the cowling and your heater and A/C box.  You could also put a few drops of pepermint oil in these areas.  It has to be pepermint OIL, not extract.  They just don''t like it.  It''s also help freshing the buggy up I think a dead mouse smells worse then a dead body.
