Ok folks here''s my story:

I''ve got a Lariat 2000 F150 5.4, other day pulled into the store when I came back put the key in the truck wouldn''t start, checked to see if it was battery (bought 2 months ago) and it was fine, checked all the fuses under the dash and noticed that a 5amp fuse was blown (location 20), replaced fuse and off I went, truck started right up.  Got back in truck today and the same thing, it won''t start, I''ve replaced every single fuse all 25 of them under the dash, checked the ones under the hood and it''s all good, I can''t find if any where there''s a relay that controls any part of starting the truck.  One thing that I would like to mention is that a couple of months ago the key Fob wouldn''t work completely, won''t open or close doors.  I''m at my wits with this one, only thing I can determine that there a short somewhere (hopefully not the computer).  If anyone has had this happen to them before I would appreciate a reply and I thank you in advance.

Thank you,

Manny

Check ground wire to starter. See if it is tight or if it has oil leaked on it. Be sure ground wire to battery is clean and tight.

Yes you''re correct....this is the fuse that kept blowing, I replaced it and the fuse is fine now, also removed radio Samo o same o, nothing that I''ve done has made a difference.

Proabaly the thing to do at this point since the fuse isn''t blowing now, (and the truck doesn''t start) may be to have someone hook up a scanner and see if it''ll communicate with the PCM and vise versa.. Know anyone with a scanner, or even code reader to see if it''ll test?

This is amazing........

Stuck a cheapy scanner (AutoZone Brand), did a scan and found no error codes, not a 1 and the truck started.  I mean not even 30 seconds of hooking this scanner up and the truck cranked right up.  I''m at a stump seems that I''ll be spending a few hard earned bucks with Ford.  I''ll replace lock actuators being that these aren''t working but I can''t see how this would stop a vehicle from starting......unless maybe it has something to do with the alarm, oh well I''ll be scratching my nugget for a long time over this one, thanks for all the help and I''ll post the problem once it gets resolved 100%.
