Hi all,

For a week or so, i hear a cloaking (bubling) noise coming from the passenger side, underneath the glovebox. If i place my hand on a kind of a black box, which i am not sure what it is exactly (I think it''''s some A/C parts), i could feel a cloaking type of vibration. I think it coming underneath the black box.

When i put it in drive and accelerate, the cloaking sound come faster and little more loud.

Do you have any clues what could do that ?

Thx

Dan

That noise sounds like the heater core. The noise is water going through after the thermostate opens. It sounds like water . Ronbo

The heater core, is it the little radiator which collect hot liquid to provide heat in the car ?

I did realize that the <over flow antifreeze container> was empty so i putted about 1\3 of a 4 liter container inside about 4 days ago, perhaps there is air in the system cause this sound ?  When the air will be replace by liquid, maybe the sound will go away ?

i took a look under the car and figure out what was going on. The inlet pipe coming from the water pump, the one feeding the heater core is leaking, perhaps letting air in, which cause that croaking sound.

thx for reading,

Dan
