1997 Ford Thunderbird Motor Mounts - 8/1/2008 3:29:46 PM    rizingstarz   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 8/1/2008 Status: offline I purchased a Chiltons manual for my 1997 3.8L T-bird to replace a motor mount and there is no mention or picture of the mount. Does anyone know how to replace a motor mount. (Driver side) Post #: 1

Jack up the engine. Remove any accessories on the mount (oil cooler line clips). (in reply to goinstrong) Post #: 6

Re-assembly is reverse. Mount to engine bolts torque to 25-35 ft.lbs. Through bolt 35-50 ft.lbs. (in reply to goinstrong) Post #: 7
