''05 Crown Vic - Simple manual fan knob.  No automatic environment controls. When A/C is either switched on reg. or super cool and the fan speed is high or medium it oddly adjusts high to low.  Adjusts when shifting from D to R to P and intermittent while driving.  Acts like there is a loose wire connection except for the strange shifting influence.   Thanks in advance.

Possibly transmission range sensor.  Also look at the connection to the blower.  We have run into some that has broken loose inside the blower itself and cause strange problems.
