I have to buy a new transmission, but need help identifying the one I need to order. I have a ''98 Expy EB 4WD - the transmission case tag shows the following: 3K (in 2" high letters), then to the right, F8UP-MB (F8 represents the year 1998 - don''t know what MB is), and underneath that is PRB-V1. Any ideas as to which transmission it is? E40D? 4R100? or 4R70W?

Hi, the transmission is 4R100

4R100
- 1998-02 V8 5.4L

E40D
- 1996-1997 V8 5.4L

4R70W
- 1997-2002 V8 4.6L
- 2003-2004 V8 4.6L 5.4L
