Well no one seems to be asking questions so I guess I will try another one. I was reading online that one guy upgraded his 351M and made it a 406. He says it performs well. Does anyone know about this? Also everywhere I look I find 351M/400 pistons, crank ect. I am looking for a 400 piston bored .030 over and 400 crank. From what I have read the 400 is smaller from top to bottom than the 351. Well guys thanks again. Hopefully one day I will be able to contribute to the site and not just ask questions. Thanks again

Well you asked !!!!! , My opinion JUNK , Yea anything you did to those { M } Motors had to help them , even a fresh coat of spray paint , they were too heavy , an way too under powered, . It was suppose to be the answer to the fuel shortage at the time , That sure flopped on them. I dont know of any Ford Man , you could give one to. even if it was a fresh rebuild !!!!!!!! Sorry ,, But hey if you like it go for it, everyone is differnt , one Mans trash , Another Mans treasure, as they say
