Hello,

I own a Ford Focus 2002 with automatic transmission.

The problem is that the car accelerate by itself when the break pedal is pressed and the car is stopped. For example, when I wait at a red light, the car RPM will go high and the car will try to accelerate (and it will if the break pedal isn''t deeply pressed) for about 2 seconds and will accelerate again 20 seconds later and on and on. It seems that there is no such thing happening when I''m driving, only when the car is stopped.

Anyone has any hints about this?

Thanks
Francis
