1979 F150 question - 9/30/2008 4:52:53 PM    sethmichael15   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 9/30/2008 Status: offline anyone know what the support is called that runs down the frame rail of a four wheel drive truck and wraps around the front axle. I tried to attach a pic but it is to large. there is one on each frame rail of my truck running to the front axle. its a 1979 f150. i think its a traction bar but not sure. i am adding four inches of lift and have been told that i have to get new mounts that attach this bar to the frame so that the cast and camber of the truck are not off. help please Post #: 1
