Yes, we do love Fords. Where are you from? I am from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and have older Ford/Mercury trucks from 56 to 69, 65-67 Mustang fastbacks and a 83 5.0 Mustang convertibe.

Hey all.
Been lurking around for a bit and just saw the "Canadian" section and figured I'd say hey.
Just bought myself a '79 f250 4x4 crew cab short box.Planning on (eventually) stuffin' in a 12v Cummins.

'Many' years ago, one of my coworkers stuffed a detroit into his 78 F250 4x4.. Wall to wall engine! Later converted it to a Perkins.. Man,, that thing was a tank, plenty of power/torque, and one of the first 'F' series I'd ever see under diesel power.. Never and recalls either ;) If you do your conversion, post some pics during/after the build....
