hi, i just bought a vic, but i have some issues with it. it accelarates slowly, and it had a diagnostic ran on it. what it said was that, P0355-Ignition Coil E primary circuit malfunction. what does it mean? what do i have to buy to fix this? is it a new ignition coiul, or just get a tune up?

Did you clear code and it came right back? If so check the connector, if that good. You might be able to get one from a salvage yard cheap. Do a ohms comparation check, if there the same I wouldn't expect it to fix the problem, but I'd give it a try.

Yeppers , those coils can be tricky , I have had them read text book prefect , an not have enough juice to fire off a lighten bug.... Or you could put a ole drop lit buld by one an let it heat up , an watch your ohm meter go crazy,,, Thats why I like it when they start leaking oil outta them , then you know for sure there junkers ....
