Ok, new to this site but not new to Fords...been driving them since I learned to drive...anyways...at present I have a 1991 Ford Explorer 2dr 4L v6...I now want a bigger truck because the Explorer, while it has been good to me, is just too small. Anyways, I've been looking at the F350's and come to the decision that I want one...however, I don't have a lot of cash...I figure about $10,000-15,000. What is the best I could hope for ie//year, equipment ect... I've thought somewhere from 1997-2000...also, what should I look for ie/ man. defects ect...

Think you can get up to 2001 w/good options, Check this site out you can find alot of vehicles near you, just go to "find your car" and punch in what your looking for. You can even do more search option and get down to things like color.

Ok, I would like y'alls opinion on what I want to do to this thing because it has been my dream to make this truck since...well...since I can remember, only recently I've been able to read up on the neat things you can do as well...I'd like to get, as I said, about a 2000 Ford F350, and not so much jack it up sky high, just raise up the back end a few inches to give it a mean line...then I'd like to put one of them back racks behind the cab made out of tubing and mount 4 off road lights on there...then put some clearance (orange) lights on the roof and along the side and on the step bars (which would be added on as well), a roo-bar (bush-betty, cow-catcher, grill guard, whatever you want to call it) on the front...and the piece de resistance, transport truck stacks coming up the back of the cab...hehehe...tell me what you think of it...I may have to change my mind depending on what y'all think, but I figure it'll look real nice

Thanks Ramrod, I did forget the air-horns on the roof and possibly a turbo upgrade...still not sure on this...the jury is still out...
