Hi there. I'm Bruce, 54, retired & have a lifelong admiration for Fords. Dad had a Model T, a '54 F100 pickup, 2 Zephyrs (English). I recently sold my '85 Fairlane & bought an '83 Jag XJ6 which has been fitted with a 351 Cleveland motor & FMX transmission. The car runs on straight gas....not to be confused with gasoline.....this is a butane/propane blend which is one third the price of gasoline here in Australia & a very popular conversion with commercial operators and owners of larger, thirstier cars. Enough of that.

What I'd really like is to trace the evolution of Windsor engines right from their origins, i.e. what was the first one? Do they get their name from Windsor Ontario? Etc., etc. With thanks,
Bruce
