I have a 2002 Excursion with the 7.3 diesel. The check engine light came on and I had it checked. It had a p0605 (ROM error). The guy reset it and the check engine light stayed of for approx. 25 hours. I took it back and it said p0605 and he reset it again. The light came back on again after 25 hours. The mechanic said it was probably a bad computer and Ford would change around $500 to replace it. Does anyone know where I can get a computer at a resonable cost? I've only had the vehicle about 3 months - it has 130K.
