ive recently been isntalling a new set of Fog lights on my Ford Taurus SEL 2001 model. As i was connecting the cables to the battery it either sparked or the battery simply got disconnected and for some reason the Climate Control is now in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius (how it was before). I dont have the car's manual so i dont know how to change it back, if anyone can tell me ide grately appreciate it!! thank you!

I have a '99 SE with the EATC on it. I looked in the manual and it says to press MAX A/C and FRONT DEFROST at the same time for several seconds to switch it. I think the procedure would be the same for your '01 but I'm not sure, hope this helps.

I have a 2005 F350. The same thing happened, I don't have a "max". Any ideas?

It may show RECIRCULATE instead of MAX or just have a circular arrow. Anyways, it will be the one that diverts the interior air intake from the outside to the inside.
