Hey there, I own a 96 E150 conversion 5.8L 173k/m. I'm pretty sure the trans is on it's way out. It's slipping in 2nd and D and completely stalls out in reverse (unless cold) - I basically have to brake-stand the thing to park it. But, none the less, I've gone through most everything I could think of including the TPI. A friend of mine suggested I try a Hypertech micro tuner to increase the trans pressure by recalibrating the computer to a higher performance setting. Anyone heard of this sollution or have any oppinions as to whether it will work? Or do you think it will cause more problems, i.e., rear end failure. (I lug a pretty heavy load with the thing as well, all highway)

Thanks.
