Help!! My 92 F150 fuel injected truck is running way too rich. There is the smell of fuel in th oil. After hooking up a computer to it, I changed the oxygen sensor and egr sensor according to the codes. There is a beautiful black spray that comes out of the exhaust system when I start the truck. ( it looks nice all over my white car that sits next to the truck)
Any suggestions? Anyone know where I can get a good diagram of the fuel system?

Yeah, you need a fuel pressure testing set.

You can get them at autzone for like 15 bucks.

Thank you thank you thank you..I was heading to the parts store to get a fuel pressure regulator, when the transmission went out on the truck. That major issue got me sidetracked from the driveability problem for the last three weeks. Once the "certified ford technichian" rebuildt the tranny, we got back to the fuel issue. As I insisted we needed to change the F.P.R. he insisted we didn't. I won although he made me do it myself..which was easy..and TADA.. problem solved.
Thanks to you for answering my post, and giving me bragging rights.
Thanks again
Kat

Normally when the fuel pressure reg. goes out , If you pull the lil vacumm hose off the nipple .

An with the engine running it will shoot fuel up outta the nipple.

So dont get your face real close to it when you do. the engine vaccum ends up sucking the

fuel into the motor an it ends up in the oil pan, not good, glad you got it fixed
