move the air cleaner box and look for a pair of relays.....one is the highspeed and the othe is the control........hook a wire to the positive terminal of your batt and insert the other end into one of the relays control circuits.....there should be four wires 2 thick and two thin....with the key in the on position and the wire in there the fan should start if you got the right relay and wire.....do not hook the fan to the batt directly for long periods...they are realy for short duration.....check you fan temp switch on the block( or rad) to see if its working....it has tree wires coming from it and is usualy on the back of the engine( transvers mounted ones are the end without the belts) on a pipe that goes under the edis/distributor from the thermostat to the heater core......ive found that this sensor is garbage and i just have a momentary switch on mine so i can start it when needed(stop and go traffic) the fan should run untill you turn the key off or you try to start the engine....once started though the fan can be turned on again and it will stay running
