I have a 2004 Ford Taurus 3.0 V6 (regular engine) that needs a frost plug heater installed. I've installed them in the past, but never on a moder car with the engine sideways! The Napa lady, who's not up on cars, says the book mentions the heater goes (from what she deciphered) in the frost plug toward the front of the car, about center in the side of the engine. I see a frost plug there, but it would look like you'd have to take off the exhaust manifold at minimun, to get at it. Does this sound like the right spot for a frost plug heater in an 04 Taurus? Also, in transverse mounted engines, what's considered the "front", left, right, and rear of the engine when they're talking about frost plugs? In the good old days, the engine pointed forward, and left was the drivers side. Thanks for any help! Tom
