There is a 14 Y/O loud mouth punk kid who lives by me and always talks up his Festiva. I want to know what to do to shut him up.. the thing is all stock!! I mean he will redline it and do a burnout and it looks like Lance Armstrong skidded on his 21 Speed Trek! The funniest part is it was a doughnut tire and 2 FT Long!!

it's really simple, in order to sell the V-8 Mustangs, Ford has to sell about 3 compact cars like these in order to meet the stupid federal regulations on Corporate Average Fuel Economy, better known as the CAFE laws. this limits the number of Stangs they can make and sell based on how well they can sell these little cars with the 4 banger engines that have no power and no pizazz except for tree huggers and others like them who demand the small economy cars that don't have enough power to get out of their own way! sometimes I think they shouldn't even let them get on the interstates the way some people drive them like they're trying to squeeze every little bit of mileage out of them that they can and they won't accelerate like they should when they try to enter the highway at an on ramp and make everybody else change lanes in order to not run up their asses because they're so damn slow!

Thats not a Fiesta, It's a Mazda 121! Don't see many of that Mark in the Uk. You need to be a millionaire to put fuel in a V8 over here, but I know some one who put a 2litre 16V running 200bhp in a Mk 2 Fiesta, that gives 300bhp per ton. Anyway atleast you don't get the Ka.

There are some rather nifty things about those cars, I an concitering buying one for a SOLO1 car. The 1.6 turbo engine in a mazda 323 sport, or turbo mercury capri will bolt directly in. The only thing that has to be changed is the engine wiring and ECM. This engine is about 170hp stock. On top of that a little NOS can get you safely into the land of 230hp. If you ever heard of power to weight ratio you will know that a 1500lb car with that much power will spank most cars without trying hard. For handling and braking get suspention and brakes from a aspire, which is slightly heavyer due to the aspires higher weight. The wheels can come off a 240Z. The springs and shocks are made by kyb for ralley racers. So for about $3000 you can have a car that will get your buddys stock camaro or mustang. Just thought you might want to know.
