I get quite a bit of oil (about 2 spoonful) that accumulate in the inside of the air intake flex tube next to the throtle body. I also get a little bit of oil the on the throtle body tube. I believe this may be related to why I'm getting a P0306 (misfire on cylinder 6) error code. I have replaced the EGR valve but I'm still getting oil in the air intake chamber. Any ideas why I'm getting so much oil in the air intake tube?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like blowby gasses forcing oil and vapors into the fresh air inlet. It could be excessive blowby, meaning worn piston rings but I would fork out 6 bucks for a new pcv valve and inspect the tube closely for collapse, leaks, soft areas.

The oil making its way into the intake stream can cause a misfire for you by fouling the spark plugs. Pull the #6 plug and I'd be willing to bet you got some ugly build-up there.
