I HAVE A 82 F150 WITH A TRASHED SROD T170 4 SPD TRANS IN IT.......DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD GET A USED ONE IN GOOD SHAPE OR KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO REPLACE IT WITH A T-19 OR NEW PROCESS TRANSMISSION? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I have the same tranny in my '27 Ford Roadster that I lifted from an '83 'Stang. I researched replacements and was told that a Tremec 5 speed is a direct bolt in replacement. The aluminum bell housing that the SROD came from the factory with is supposedly a quite sought after piece.

You also might try Ebay. I saw a SROD for sale there a while back.
