You should also replace the exhaust. There are 3 that are good out there. Dynomax, Flowmaster and Magnaflow. I put on dynomax because it is half the price of the other 2. And I noticed an increase in mileage. And check Jet Chips to see if they have one for your truck. http://www.jetchip.com/ This will help all the new "breathing" mods work together.

I did when I had my Silverado. My friend as well did on his silverado. What was noticeable was the smoothness going through all the ranges. And that was added a few months after I got the Flowmaster exhaust and K&N CAI.

replace air filter, plugs, oxygen sensors, keep proper tire pressures, accelerate slowly,don't run up to redlights at 70mph, watch lights to anticipate change, get an air gate, if u know a light is going to change just cruise or kinda coast that way when it changes u never had to stop. believe it or not people race to lights just to stop, then wonder why they always need brakes. then u are trying to get on the highway,people have a redlight, gonna have to stop and yet they race so u can't get out.
