I have a 1996 ford fairmont EL, i had trouble starting it and when it did start, the oil pressure light came on and beeped at me, the RAA said the battery cable was loose and he tightened it, but today, which is about 5 days later the oil pressure light came on and beeped again.I have enough oil but I don't know what else it could be,please help!

i have only one idea and that would be that it could be just a bad sensor. i would take it in and see if the oil pump is working properly and i would also check the oil. if i was you i would go change the oil if you have not done so for a while maybe there is just an accumulation of gunk on the sensor or something. that is what i would do. good luck... what does a ford fairmont look like i dont know if i have ever seen one of those (probably have just dont realize it)

Yeah, they don't make the fairmont anymore in the US. I think they stopped making them in the late 80's, possibly early 90's. The Tempo tooks it place here. My Grandma had a Fairmont. It looks mor boxy that the one you showed.
