I have a 96 F150. The computer holds 0320 code. The truck will start fine in the morn. and drive 5-20 mi. then the engine just plain quits for 2-3 seconds then will run good for the rest of the day. Any ideas? The dealer seems stumped everything cks. ok.

Not a real tough one here. Your dealer should have caught that.

Thank you moderator for the input. I have been a mechanic for over 40 years and have never understood the newer vehicles. The information you have provided will help me. However, the basics are still the same..Fuel, Air and spark will make an engine run. How good, no one knows until they put it to the test. Carl

Glad I could be of assistance. And although I have not been a mechanic as long as you I do totally understand the concept of air/flammables/spark but the new stuff can really get hard to troubleshoot. The really nice thing about the new stuff is that because of that computer we can stand in our living room and start our vehicles in the driveway and have it nice and toasty when we get ready to go. Ya gotta love technology.
