I just noticed there is a place under the user name on posts that says score. Is this a site that scores answers? If it is, what is the benefit? I am on another site and people are fighting to get a higher score and give bad answers just trying to answer more. Hope this site is not like that. Just wondering.

The admins give the scores. I am the Mod and I can't. But they never use it. So it is no big deal.
