I've just bought a F-150 FX4, it barely have 100 miles on it, but I feel the truck a little slow, and mostly after driving a Dodge Ram Hemi, I dont think that the extra 45 Hp of the Hemi could make that difference on the end. I would really apreciate if someone knew how to make it a little more awake or could tell me where the 300 Hp of my engine are....

Hey man whats up? I have some questions for you. I am actually looking at a truck that is identical to yours and i was wondering how you liked it. I know you said in this post that it is slow but thats not an issue. How do you like the FX4 package and how does it do with towing and just normal driving. Thank you. Anyone else that has the same truck feel free to post. Thanks again. Brian

The drive is smooth, and the 4 by 4 capabilities are endless, yesterday I went up in a 50 to 60 degree angle in soft dirt, in 4 Hi, then when I felt it a little overstressed, I turned the switch to 4 Lo, and then the problem was over, it really have serious Off Road capabilities. And maybe the lack of power of the truck was because the engine was new, in these last days I have noticed a little more power, and other factor is that the speed in a truck does not feel like in a car.

Oh, and about the towing factor, it is great, for big loads, you have to turn on the 4 Hi at least, and if you feel that you need some power you can turn on the 4 Lo, (great thing that is an electronical shifter) the con on the 4 Lo is that te top speed is about 50 - 60 MPH, at 4,500 RPM (out of 5000).
