my wife drives a 2002 Explorer....it has michelin tires....she was driving and the tire exploded....it came apart like someone peeled the inner layer from the outer....took it to the shop and they said a puncture would do this and it isn't under warranty....the tire has about 25,000 miles on it....was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with tires from michelin...i havent seen a tire come apart like this with a small puncture....

Michelins are the best tires available, bar none! They are warrantied. Whomever told you they were not is smokin' dope, or they work for the shop who has to honor the warranty! Most are warrantied for 60,000 miles or more for normal failure including a puncture! You didn't drive it with a flat unit it shreaded out did you?' If you did, warranty voided!

if these are the tires that came when you bought your vehicle your out of luck no matter what brand ford doesnt warranty the tiresand by the way i would rather have remington or dean tires than michelin

Im with hockeyhitman69 . I work at a dealership and a puncture is not covered by warranty.
