98 Ford F150 XCab Gas Mileage - 2/22/2006 7:56:33 PM    tammied7   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 5/19/2005 Status: offline My son recently purchased a 1998 Ford F150 X-Cab with a Triton V-8. He's only getting about 15 MPG. We thought this truck would get about 17-19??? My husband's 01 Ford SuperDuty gets 14-15 MPG. No, he's not hot rodding it. (He's paying for his own gas now and he's a tight wad) He's driving about 65 on the highway. Is this gas mileage normal for this truck? It has 111K miles on it. I suggested changing out the air filter and plugs and wires. Post #: 1
