i have a 97 taurus lx and im wondering how to take the raidio out, i know you need to put four thing into the holes but what else.
or if anyone knows if there are any plugs for a sub in the back of it?

i am assuming that its a factory unit (did not read all of post). i dont think that they have rc(i think that is what they are called) jacks in the back of a standard unit. you might have to get an after market unit for it. also i would say that you might need some of those special tools that are made to pull out factory units from the dealer or something. that is what my mom had to go get for her taurus

When you insert the tools, simply pull them away from each other and the pull towards you. the radio will slide out. Most stock units to not have rca jacks in the back.
