I am hearing what initially sounds like a exhaust tick from my lightning. It can be heard only when standing on the sides of the truck at the fornt wheels. After investigating I found no leaks from the manifolds. It then reminded me of the noise that my 93 stang made with higher psi injectors. Now I know the lightning has 40+lb injectors and it could be this. I am not sure. I am also wondering it this noise could be coming from the torque converter. The truck has no loss in power and has no misses. It had a +4psi lower pully for boost and a custom tuned chip. I am wondering if the higher PSI could simply be causing a ticking sound in the exhaust.
The only other thing I can think of is a broken cat. Has anybody broken a cat on these trucks with higher psi from the blower. If anybody has had this before let me know.
