I've heard of a lot of things in my day, but never that...it may not even be possible to do it to an aerostar...there's little enough space in there for a damn v6 let alone a v8...could do what i saw done to a dodge however, he put a v8 vette engine into the back of his 85 150 van...it was funny cause the thing would do pop-a-wheelies everywhere...he had to load up the engine compartment w/ bricks just to keep it on the road...hehehe

I did the V-8 upgrade thing over 170,000 miles ago.Almost 40,000 miles ago I did up a 5.0 high output. The van runs really strong, and is very dependable.I take it to some car shows in the summer and drove the long haul in the Hot Rod power tour 2004 from Fort Worth, Texas to Green Bay,Wisconsin. What a great trip, over 4000 miles in 10 days from central PA.In 2003 I took it on vaction to Disney and ended up going to Key West before returning home. That trip was over 3600 miles in 9 days. The van has almost 330,000 miles on it now.I really liked the van before the V-8,but now it's a lot better.
