Default Genuine leather or Microfiber

I'm curious, when the description of the interior says seats are leather. Are the seats actually genuine animal skin or are they synthetic microfiber leather?

Most leather optioned seats are normally genuine leather panels back/bottom, with naugahyde/vinyl side panels etc..

Thank you for the reply. In 2015 I purchased a F250 Diesel, King Ranch version. I assumed the seats were genuine leather with that model.

Thanks for the replies. I had gotten curious when I ran across an article describing microfiber leather. So it got me to thinking what actually were the seats made of in my very expensive vehicle.
thanks
Ken
