'97 Aspire Windshield Washer
Do you hear the reservoir pump run at all with washer selected??
If not,, chances are it's the reservoir pump failed, possibly the multi function switch but the small pump motor has a higher failure rate,, more so if straight water and not windshield washer solvent had been used.. If you can access or trace the loom from/down to the rerservoir in the LH fender check to see if there is 12v on the BL/O wire when the pump is selected ON.. If there's 12v there the pump is bad....

Another thing to remember is (like a radiator) never to leave just water in the reservoir over winter seasons if the temperature in your area ever drops below 40 degrees. Pump parts can be damaged at this temperature.
