2013 Ford Fusion Start/stop option
The 2013 Ford Fusion is offering a $295 start/stop option, which is interesting because most start/stop options are on hybrid cars, but Ford has managed to get it working in a nonhybrid.
The start/stop technology shuts down the engine when the car stops, and then quickly restarts it when the foot is lifted off the brake. This technology is supposed to reduce emissions and improve the miles per gallon.
