Bronco vs. Jeep
OK, sure, the Bronco is no longer a Concept but there's no other thread for it here.
I've been seeing a lot of Jeep ads since the new Bronco was confirmed. And they seem to be trying to indicate that the current Jeep is the same as the original military 'General Purpose' vehicle that was called a Jeep, for 'G-P'. Well, if you do some military history googling, it's not. There were two companies who made the original G. P. vehicles and one was Ford.
I was in the Air Force from 1966 to 1973. The outfit I was in, Combat Control, drove the M-151 vehicles that were classified as radios because the radio equipment was more expensive than the vehicle itself. The nomenclatures were, while I was in, from MRC-104 to MRC-108. Now we drove these vehicles a heck of a lot of miles in some pretty bad conditions. I never had one break down on me and didn't hear about any breaking down. These were Ford tough!
So don't let these Jeep enthusiasts bull s__t you folks. What they're in love with has one of the worst reliability ratings ever. The new Ford Bronco will be a much better choice and I plan on a two door being my next vehicle purchase. Heck, I may even drive it up to NC and out on the drop zones at Fort Bragg. Oh, and my little cellphone is probably a thousand times a better means of communications than all of those radios I had on the MRC's. Ha!

Maybe you are right. It is worth checking the manual and compare the models to make an informed decision based on individual preferences and needs. I know that https://www.jeepmanuals.org/ offers a wide choice of manuals for all cars. Check it if interested. However, I think, even after that the opinions will be divided
