Far as I've read, one of two things will happen to the ranger. Either it will be carried over from the world platform, or it will go away entirely. And since most everything ford makes in other countries is superior to american models, the former would be best for the ranger. The ranger is an excellent little truck, and deserves a little more attention from ford than it's getting.

 

A 4 cylinder turbo diesel would be really great.

 

More than likely if it stays around or comes back it will probably be a mid sized and may carry the name F-100 from all the reports I have seen.
